PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES AND BUSINESS REVIEW
The principal activity of the company during the year was the supply, installation and maintenance of electronic security systems including access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring with the key factor being the integration of all three disciplines into one seamless solution.
This past year has been our most successful, turnover is up by 66% and we remain profitable and in excellent financial shape for the future.
To meet the increased demand for our services we have re-shaped the company recruiting a sales director who brings a high level of experience and industry knowledge to the team. He has already taken on additional salesmen to provide regular contact with our existing customers as well as developing new accounts.
Our technical support team has also been increased as we recognise the need to offer the very highest level of technical expertise to our customers and the ability to interface with their IT departments.
Our in-house engineering resource has been expanded with the recruitment of additional installation and service engineers to meet the growing needs of our maintenance base and the increase in our projects work.
Partnerships with key suppliers have been further developed resulting in more opportunities with major blue chip companies that has seen us expand into Europe.
Similarly we are undertaking more building contracts and as a result of this we are placing an even greater emphasis on project management.
In summary Frontline has moved forward at pace in the past 12 months. We have a healthy order book and look forward to continued success in the future.
