Frontline Visits ASIS International 2006
Date :
ASIS International took place in San Diego on
25-28th September 2006. This was the 52nd year that ASIS had organised
their Annual Seminar and as in previous years they provided the
opportunity for many of the worlds largest security manufacturers to
show off their wares.
The directors of Frontline Security decided to
take the time to visit the exhibition to meet with those of their
suppliers who are based in the United States, to gain an understanding
of what new technological advancements and products might be on the
horizon.
We always attend IFSEC, Europe largest
security exhibition but we thought it was important with technology
advancing at such a rapid rate, that we gain a perspective from another
part of the world, said Peter Goodenough, Sales and Marketing
Director of Frontline. We certainly felt the trip to San Diego was
worthwhile. As well as seeing existing manufacturers/suppliers, we had
the opportunity to talk to other manufacturers who are keen to break
into the European market. At the top of our list of questions was of
course their ability to provide full technical support for us and our
clients.
Two of our existing suppliers who exhibited at ASIS 2006 sent us the following comments:
ASIS 2006 has proved to be an exceptional
event for all those involved. Previously very North American centric,
the number of international travellers particularly from Europe has
ensured that this is a truly international event, said John Lakin,
Global Account Manager for HID.
As one of our most valued clients we are in
regular contact with Frontline Security Solutions in the UK. We were
however delighted that the Directors took the time to visit our stand
at ASIS to provide us with the opportunity to update them on our latest
product offerings and in turn have valuable insight into the current
status of the European market. said David Petrook, DVTel.
