Frontline Provides Access to SOHO

Date :

The cost to our clients of installing access control in buildings that have up to eight entrances/exits has been dramatically reduced with the introduction of the web based SOHO IP access control solution.

Using a client’s existing network, SOHO reduces the cost of installing an access control system by negating the need to run what could normally be up to 16 cables from each card reader to the system’s control panel.

“SOHO allows clients to capitalise on their existing IT infrastructure,” said Peter Goodenough, Frontline’s Sales and Marketing Director. “However, being web based, it can also be monitored and controlled from any location where there is a PC.”

SOHO, which is manufactured by DVTEL, does not require any special software to be loaded onto the client’s PC. The system can be fully controlled using just a standard Internet browser and if required, there is an option to effortlessly add video and audio.

Although targeted at projects such as small office buildings, SOHO is easily upgradeable to DVTEL’s Longitude IPAC which supports an unlimited number of access points and is scaleable from one to thousands of doors.
