Frontline is committed to developing talented individuals. The business has taken the strategic decision to build ongoing relationships with local colleges to create a talent pool of trainees.

What is Frontline looking for in a trainee?

We are looking for trainees who have an interest and an appropriate work-based qualification for the Electronic Security Industry, such as a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) at either Level 2 or Level 3; or a technical qualification i.e. BTEC or City & Guilds in Engineering Technology; Electrical/Electronics; Installing & Commissioning.

Key requirements:

You will be required to work as part of a team; be able to use your own initiative; problem-solve, communicate effectively and use new technology.

Why is Frontline involved in a trainee scheme?

Trainees are a proven way to nurture individuals through training and being part of the workforce. The role of the trainee within Frontline is one whereby those involved in the program receive on-the-job work experience; along with training and structured career progression with real opportunities to increase their knowledge and expand their experience within the business.

Our trainee scheme is designed to allow individuals to develop and reach a high level of competency and performance over a period of 24 months.

Who qualifies for the training scheme

You will to be living in the South of England and have finished\about to finish part/full-time education in one of the following elements:

  • An appropriate work-based qualification such as a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) at either Level 2 or Level 3;
  • A technical qualification such as a BTEC or City & Guilds

In any of the following disciplines:

    • Engineering Technology - Electrical/Electronics
    • Electro Technical Technology
    • Electrical and Electronic - Installing & Commissioning Electro technical Systems & Equipment
    • Engineering Technology - Security Alarm Systems EAL Level 2 VRQ Certificate
    • Fundamentals of Electrical Installation and Testing
    • IT Professional Skills - CompTIA Network+ Certification.

How much will I earn?

Frontline pays market competitive salaries and will regularly review your salary in line with how well you are progressing. The Company will provide the foundations for individuals to progress and stretch themselves to reach their potential.

Support during training

Frontline will ensure you are supported during your training. Our job is to ensure that your training fits your personal requirements, offers the skills needed for the job. We will also provide mentoring where possible and ensure that from day one you have a mentor who you will work with you throughout your training.
